Subject:-Revised pay structure of the common category posts of Pharmacists Cadre-implementation of Fast Track Committee's recommendation regarding.
while approving the Report of the Sixth Central Pay Commission, the Government referred the matter related to the demandsmade in regard to pay scales of certain common category posts of Pharmacists was one of the items referred to the Committee.
The recommendation of the Fast Track Committee regarding the pay scales of the common category posts of Pharmacists has sincebeen reveived. The Committee has recommended that the entry grade of Pharmacists in Central Government should remain at grade pay of Rs.2800 in the pay band PB-1. However, on completion of 2 years service in the entry grade, all the incumbents should be granted non-functional upgradation to the next higher grade having grade pay of Rs.4200 in the pay band PB-1
The recommendation of the Fast Track Committee regarding the pay scale of Pharmacists has been considered by the Government and it has benn decided to accept the same. Accordingly, the following pay structure is approved for the common category posts of Pharmacists cadre w.e.f. 1.1.2006 :-

3. Consequent upon the implementation of the above pay structure, promotion from Pharmacists (Entry Grade) to the next higher grade of Pharmacist (Non-Functional Grade) having grade pay of Rs.4200 will be delinked from vacancies and will become non-functional and time-bound. In the case of Organizations like the Ordnance Factory Board, where all the Pharmacists posts are presently in the grade pay of Rs.2800 in the pay band PB-1, the implementation of the above pay sturcture will result in the introduction of the new Non-Functional Grade having grade pay of Rs.4200 in the pay band PB-2.
4. All adminstrative ministries may initiate action to implement the above revised pay structure in respect of the common category post of Pharmacist Cadre.

My date of joining Dec 1995 in scale 4500-7000 (grde pay 2800).What is the my grade pay on 01-01-2006 ?
2800 grade pay of accountnat is required to change from 2800 to 4600 grade pay those are higher qualified like M.Com,CA(I)and ICWA(I)
This 6 CPC is not proper fixation for Accounts personnel those are working as an accountant on 2800/-grade pay but thier qualification is B.Com,M.Com,CA(I) and ICWA(I).Pharmacist is deploma holder but they will get 4200/-GP,Govt has to reveiw this pay structure of accounts personnel.
F.No1/1/2008-IC,18.11.2009 order of GOI Ministry Finance,Dpt.of revenue should be implimented for all the central govt employees those are working in 2800/- grade pay.
2800/-grade pay should be merged with 4200/- grade pay.Those employees are master degree,ICWA,CA,CS holder kindly give them 4,600/- grade pay.
other employees are not satisfied like Pharmacist,don't pass order only for Pharmacist.Other employees of Grade pay 2,800/- are also hungry.Kindly modify that order and pass common order for all employees.
This order should be common for all central gov employees those are now working in Grade Pay 2800/-
Central govt has to reveiw of higher qulification and permitte to take 1000/- basic extra as higher educational allowances.
This is to all those who are making noise for receiving PB2 to pharmacists. Why you were not making noise when the PB2 was given to junior engineers who are just 10 th pass with diploma while a pharmacist is 10+2 with diploma and 3 months practical training or B. pharma. It is only the pharmacist who are registered other than doctors. So surely pharmacist are getting less pay than junior engineers. Why you people not compare yourself with junior engineers.
We are working as an accountant in 2800/- grade pay and our qualification is 1st class M.Com.,CA(I)and ICWA(I).But in central govt some Pharmacist is 10+2 with deploma and they are getting grade pay 4200/-.Why this type of system implimented.Before passing order would have to think about it.It is not proper justic for other central govt employees.Those r working in 2800/- GP
That means no meaning of education in india.What necessary for govt to invest lot of public money in Higher education filed.
Before Central Govt 10+2 with deploma is equal to B.com,M.com.,CA(I),ICWA(I).
I request to finance ministry to modify that order and pass one commen order for all central govt employees those are now working in Grade Pay 2800/- and raise 4200/-.
What about other central govt employees those are working in scale of pay 4500-125-7000.Now as per 6th CPC GP 2800/-.Only Pharmacist are working in Central govt organisation as won son other are step-son.
Govt should think for all central govt employees,only for pharmacist is not justic for other.

To those who are saying that they are M.com and CA(I) etc I would say they are very much qualified. They are even much much more qualified then a doctor who is getting PB-4. Then my friends why are you demanding PB-2 demand PB-4 because doctors are less educated then you.
If doctors are giving proper tretment in govt hospital,We have no objection for this enhancment. hello brother can U tell me,why private clining opening in your house and calling to petient with higher fee and why you are going to private hospital for additional income.

Govt has to implement this order for all central govt employees not only for Pharmacist.

WE PHARMACISTS DO NOT PRACTICE OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL SUCH AS CLINICS.AS PER THE SIU NORMS WE MUST GIVE MEDICINES TO 175 OUT-PATIENTS ONLY PER DAY. BUT WE ARE ISSUING THE MEDICINES TO MORE THAN 500 PATIENTS AND ALSO ATTENDING THE SPECIAL CLINICS AFTER REGULAR OPD EVERYDAY.
No pharmacist refuses a patient for medicines. Otherwise why so many patients coming to hospital. Patients come to hospital with just one intention that they will receive free medicine and they got it from hospitals. No pharmacist practices outside the hospital. Have you ever seen that a patient is searching for a pharmacist to get medicines? No, not at all. So my dear friends don't beat about the bushes.
The fact is that we still getting less pay according to our nature of work and condition of work involved.
In india only Pvt clining and hospital have saved the life of patient.I have seen in govt hospital Pharmacist will give wrong medicine which is not proper medicine for that patient and indirectly saying you have to go to my Boss clining.You have no right to demand for hike without other central govt employees of 2800/-GP that means U R selfish.If U r realy central govt employess,u don't avoid other.Each and every employees have responsibilty and risk. U don't think only pharmacist is risk post.Realy it is very bad think happend in history of central govt pay fixation.

many cadres like stenographers, translators,nurses,jr engineers,are getting higher pay than pharmacists. I think these people should get their dues as they are more responsible and qualified and most of the time save the valuable lives of those important persons like nurse, engineer, typists as doctors are busy for their own benefit. the people for consultation in hospital we find is non other than pharmacist. fast track committee also did not consider their claim in a right way.srikrishna committee did not considered their case as they had not fixed any relatives to consider their claim in the committee. atleast now all should consider to be aware of the duties and rights of this cadre. all take advise for use of the drugs including doctors as they have greater knowledge in drug administration.
Govt can manage all works by Pharmacist only why govt require other employees.Govt has to decide and pass same order for all.

The Qualification of Junior chemists of Directorate of Marketing & Inspection is M. Sc Chemistry Or B.Sc. Chemistry with two years experience in the lab. But The Pay band given to them 5200-20200 Grade pay 2800. Is it justified. Junior chemists are analysing the adulteration in different commodities (providing the service for public health)
As per the analytical report of different commodities ( Research samples)given by the junior chemists ,the Gazette notification for the same sample generates. After that they are kept in 2800/-
It is the great injustice for the Junior chemists of this Directorate?
I joined in CGHS as a Pharmacist in April 2000, please clarify whether I am eligible for Rs. 4200 grade pay from 1/1/2006

THE RECOMMENDATION OF FAST TRACK COMMITTEE IS GOOD.HOWEVER,ORIGINALLY IN THE FIXATION IF THEMULTIPLICATION FACTOR IS CHANGED FROM 1.86 TO 3.46 AS IN PB4, THE ABOVE SAID ANOMOLIES WILL BE NULLIFIED. THIS IS THE BIG ANOMOLY. NO UNIONS/ JCMS ARE TAKING UP THIS.
